Excellent! No problems at all downloading tracks. Took just a few minutes. Very easy to use.

Evidently, any problems with downloads mentioned in some of the other reviews have been solved. Each track downloaded in seconds with no problems. The audio app itself works like a charm.

We downloaded this app before our trip, as well as the newer Rick Steves Pocket apps for our major cities. Ironically, those newer apps had glitchy audiotour playback and stopped playing if the device went to sleep. Thank goodness wed downloaded the same tours in this app, which although outdated in interface, worked without any trouble for us.

Used this for a walking tour of Vienna, and couldnt be happier with it. Great directions, great info along the way, such a wonderful app!!!

Just remember to download your tracks when you have free wifi access before you go to certain attractions :-)

I used this app while on a Mediterranean cruise. I was able to see much more of Athens using the walking tour of the city as well as the tours of the museums than I would have taking the cruise excursions. I strongly recommend this app.

No problems downloading. Enjoyed walking tour of Prague. However, the audio controls on the lock screen (Pause and Forward/Reverse) did not work. Volume Control worked but I did not need to use that one. Had to unlock every time I wanted to pause or restart the guide. Five stars if audio controls on the lock screen had functioned properly. iPhone 5, iOS 8.1

First of all, I am the biggest Rick Steves fan. His recommendations have proven again and again to be spot on. I did an audio tour years ago in Paris but I forgot to use it on my more recent travels. Thats my only regret. We just got back from Italy (Florence and Rome) and we used these all over. My husband had been there before but he said he enjoyed it so much more this time because of these tours. I highly recommend these because you can use his guides as is or you can sped through it or skip parts. The pictures help tremendously - way better than paying for those headsets at museums. Not only that, but they are entertaining if you enjoy his cheesy sense of humor! Overall this saved us money, time and made our experience so much richer. I will definitely be using this again!!

With this new update I cant even open the app on my iPhone 4. iOS 7. I really liked the app before ...

The new update crashes every time it is open. This is using an iPhone 5 and iOS 7.

I love this app, so useful when I travel... but after the update it crashes every time I try to open it. Pls fix it ASAP!!!

The app works great for me (iPhone 6). I like the refreshed look and feel. For those that are having trouble, make sure you have iOS 8. If u r stuck with iOS 7.1.2 because u have an iPhone 4 (the 4s doesnt have this problem), I wouldnt update your app.

On Ios7 and iPhone 5s - app no longer opens after this recent update- please fix- this was a great app!!

Ive loved using this App for past travel and now that I updated it, I cannot open the a App at all. The moment I tap on it, it crashes. I cant access the podcasts I had previously downloaded. I have an IPhone 5S with iOS 7.0. This is sooooo disappointing because I have a trip coming up and had planned to rely on using the App :(

If there is not going to be a fix for the IOS 7 bug, then would you please make the old version (2.0.4) available! You will keep getting 1 star reviews till you fix!

I loved this app before the update. The Compatibility notes said it would run on iOS 7.0, so I thought it would run on my iPhone 4. Wrong. I hope you will put out a fix soon (and thoroughly test that fix) or make the previous version available in the App Store. And please make sure the Compatibility notes are correct. Cannot believe this update got out for download. Very disappointing.

I saw a lot of complaints about it not working, but works perfect on my iPhone 4s iOS 8.1.2. Looking forward to using the guides soon.

The one interview I listened to was disappointing. Steves had to pull answers from his lackluster London guide. Cant say more because the app then crashed every time I tried to open it.
